The theater group Holot is a mixed group of asylum seekers (who have just been released from the Holot facility) and Israelis who joined together to present the problems related to the institutional treatment of the refugee problem in Israel. The work is based upon 'Theatre of the Depressed' founded by the Brazilian director and thinker Augusto Boal, with the aim of processing personal and social issues related to the lives of asylum seekers living in Israel. "Holot" allows critical thinking and democratization of legal and legal issues. A re-reading of the Refugee Convention and the Israeli establishment's attitude towards it, with the aim of provoking a public and legal debate that will lead to a change in the law and values of asylum seekers in Israel.
